If you’re missing a lot of teeth, you know all too well that the physical and emotional pain you face on a daily basis is distracting. You probably feel self-conscious whenever someone gets a camera out, and you may even be restricted to a diet of only soft foods. When was the last time you had a juicy steak, or smiled wide for a photograph? Don’t lose hope: At Dental, Dentures & Implants, Dr. Nathan Faber has placed thousands of full mouth dental implants in Charleston, SC, and he is the most qualified implant dentist in the area! We can transform your smile  in as little as a day, customizing your treatment plan specifically for your individual needs.

We can help put an end to your painful and discouraging symptoms with full mouth solutions that fit your lifestyle, smile goals, and budget!

Your Full Arch Replacement Options

We offer three primary solutions for replacing a full arch of missing teeth. Dentures are a quick, inexpensive option for tooth replacement, but they need frequent replacement, and they often require messy adhesives. Implant supported dentures are the next best option: these snap onto at least two posts that are implanted into your jawbone to replace a full arch of teeth. On the top tier, full mouth dental implants are the “gold standard” solution to missing teeth. These tooth replacements can last decades or even a lifetime, if taken care of properly. They are attached all on four to six titanium posts that are surgically implanted into your jawbone.

The Process of Getting Full Mouth Dental Implants

There are four steps to getting full arch dental implants in our Charleston, SC office. While each patient’s experience will vary based on their needs, here’s a general idea of what to expect:

Step 1: Personalized Consultation

The first step of any dental journey is a personalized consultation with our dentist Dr. Faber. You’ll also take a tour of our office, then our expert team will take digital cone-beam CT (CBCT) scans of your mouth and jaw. This will help us determine if you are a good candidate for full mouth dental implants. Most of our patients are good candidates for dental implants on their first visit, but if you have bone loss or gum disease, we may need to schedule preliminary treatments. If we decide that full arch dental implants are the right choice for you, we’ll also discuss your payment and financing options. Immediately after your consultation, we’ll get started on creating your personal surgical guides to help the next stage go as smoothly as possible.

Step 2: Precise Dental Implant Placement

On the day of your surgery, we’ll check you in at the front desk, then take you back to your surgical suite. At Dental, Dentures & Implants, we offer a variety of sedation dentistry options to help you remain calm and relaxed throughout your full mouth dental implant surgery, but don’t worry: our patients commonly report that they felt almost no pain throughout the entire procedure! Whether you need one arch or both replaced, Dr. Faber can complete this stage in as little as a single day! He can also place temporary replacements that look and function like regular teeth, so you’ll leave our office on the same day of your surgery with a complete smile!

Step 3: Follow-Up Appointments

It takes three or more months for your surgical sites to heal after full arch dental implant surgery. During this time, Dr. Faber may want you to come in for regular checkups, just to make sure you’re healing well and that the implants are fusing properly with the bone. These appointments are quick and easy, but important.

Step 4: Getting Your Final Restoration

Before After
Before After
Once your dental implants have fully fused with the surrounding bone, you can return to Dr. Faber for your final restorations. We offer a seven-year warranty on all the dental implants we place: as long as you come back for checkups at least once per year, we’ll repair anything that goes wrong with your full mouth dental implants!

Everybody Deserves Their Dream Smile

Full mouth dental implants in Charleston, SC are one of the best investments you can make in your overall health and quality of life! You’ll have the stability to eat even the toughest foods with ease, they won’t ever require adhesive to stay inside your mouth, and they’ll always look absolutely natural as long as they’re taken care of according to the dentist’s instructions. Meanwhile, full mouth dental implants can even improve the strength of your jawbone by acting as an artificial tooth root and giving the bone something to grow around!

We realize that dental implants also come with a bigger price tag than traditional dentures, which is why we offer a variety of ways to make paying for your full arch dental implants easier, no matter what your financial situation is. We’ll work with your dental insurance carrier to ensure that you get the most use out of your plan, and we’ll meet or beat our competitors’ prices, plus we offer third-party financing options to help make payment even easier!
